The Nepali verb conjugator
Pick a verb. Pick a tense. See every form — affirmative and negative — across all eight honorific levels, with audio on every row. Built for travelers who need the right form right now, not a linguistics seminar.
Honest disclaimer: covers the 25 highest-frequency verbs with the core tenses — present, past, future, imperative. The three most irregular verbs (हुनु, जानु, गर्नु) are hand-encoded from full reference tables. The other 22 follow the regular suffix rules from the grammar guide. Perfect, progressive, conditional, and rarer tenses are not yet included — coming in a future update. If you spot an incorrect form, please tell us.
Negative forms for vowel-stem verbs are approximations. Standard Nepali uses an -ँदै- infix (e.g. खाँदैनौँ, खाँदैन). Our generator currently produces a simpler -न्न-/-न्नौँ shape for vowel-stem negatives. Verify with a native speaker for critical use.
